Become a local coordinator

What is an International Student Coordinator?

The International Student Coordinator finds safe and caring host families for foreign high school students who will be studying in various schools throughout the United States. Coordinators will act as the local liaison between the host family, school, and My American Year to ensure that the student’s experience is successful and rewarding. The coordinators are carefully chosen to represent our organization and are specially trained in all aspects of the student exchange.

International Student Coordinators are open-minded, willing to embrace diversity, and enjoy spending time with international students. They also have great communications and creative skills.
